Country Holiday Park near Wooler, Northumberland

Highburn House offers spacious plots for touring caravans and campers with or without electric hook-ups. The areas are partly bordered by trees with panoramic views over the surrounding Northumbrian Countryside.

The park is perfect for families with all of the facilites necessary to make your stay a memorable one.

We are only a short walk (1/4 mile) from the main shopping area in the market town of Wooler which has everything from local foods to a monthly farmers market. You will also find many local pubs offering excellent local fayre.

Our reception area has a small coffee shop selling teas, coffees, local Doddington dairy ice cream, drinks and nibbles.

Use us as your base to explore The Scottish Borders or just relax in our tranquil surroundings on the park itself.

What time is check in?
All camping and touring pitches are available from 12 noon.

What time is check out?
All camping and touring pitches must be vacated before 11am.

Can I come camping with a group of friends?
We are a family friendly park therefore we do not allow groups of more than 2 families together at any time. Please call us if you are unsure.

Are dogs allowed on the Park?
Dogs are allowed on the park but we request that they are kept under close control and on a lead at all times.

Are we allowed BBQ's?
BBQ's are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground and not burning the grass.

Are we allowed open files or campfires?
Unfortunatly we do not allow any kind of campfire or firepit.

Do you have wifi?
Yes, these is free wifi in and around the reception building. There is no password required, you just select BT Guest.

Are visitors allowed on the park?
Visitors are allowed between 11am-6pm and they must park their vehicle in the visitors carpark and walk up to your pitch.

Is an awning included in the price of a pitch?
Yes they are.

Are gazebos allowed?
Gazebos are allowed on our non-electric pitches at an extra cost.

How long of an electic cable do I need if I have booked a electric pitch?
25 metres

What ampage is the electric pitches?
All of our electric pitches have a 10amp supply.

Do we freeze ice blocks?
We freeze ice blocks in reception overight at an extra cost.

Are commercial vehicles allowed?
We do not allow any commercial vehicles that have any kind of sign writing on.

Do we sell gas?
We do sell calor gas and camping gas and have a wide range of sizes available. You do need an empty bottle the same size to exchange.

We have just spent a night here at Highburn house and what can I say what a lovely site. The Caravan park is very well kept very clean and tidy. Toilets and shower blocks lovely and clean. The kids loved the park and the ducks.
